Founded in 2003 in Racine, Wisconsin, SteelHeadPits emerged from some of the top bloodlines in the world.

After searching the country, researching the pedigrees of thousands of dogs for our foundation blood, we decided on the Greyline, Razors Edge and Goodfellas lines. By selectively breeding or “out-crossing” these lines, we created a one-of-a-kind animal with a pedigree that can never be duplicated. Each bloodline contributed unique traits to ensure that when you choose a SteelHeadPit, you get much more than ‘a dog.’
